Hi, I’m Kristen Cardone,
the owner and operator of Sudsy Paws Dog Grooming.
I work with dogs and cats who benefit from a calm, thoughtful grooming experience. My approach is rooted in patience, observation, and respect for each pet’s comfort level, with a focus on building trust over time rather than rushing through a standard routine.
I’ve spent years working in the pet grooming industry, gaining hands-on experience in a variety of salon environments. Along the way, I developed a strong understanding of canine behavior, body language, and the importance of adapting grooming to the individual pet in front of me.
Sudsy Paws was created to offer an alternative to busy, high-stimulation grooming settings. I wanted to create a space where pets are treated as individuals, sessions are approached with care, and comfort is never an afterthought.
I believe grooming should be handled with kindness, respect, and clear communication. Every pet has different needs, limits, and comfort levels, and those factors guide how each session is approached.
By taking the time to observe body language, respect boundaries, and adjust the process as needed, I aim to create grooming experiences that feel supportive and manageable for pets, especially those who are anxious, sensitive, senior, or new to grooming.
Giving back to the animal community is important to me. I’m actively involved with Quinte West Lost Paws, supporting efforts to reunite lost pets with their families and assist local pet owners during stressful situations.
If you’re looking for a groomer who prioritizes comfort, trust, and thoughtful care, you’re welcome to explore my services or reach out with any questions before booking. I’m always happy to discuss whether Sudsy Paws is the right fit for you and your pet.
